Rapunzel listened as her visitor carried on, an ever-growing smile on her lips as she tried to keep up. In fact, her attention was so rapt, she had hardly noticed the young woman go quiet.
“Oh, no! I don’t think funny people should ever stop talking,” she answered without a thought, though instantly regretting it with an uneasy chuckle or two. “Funny in a good way. You know what I mean?”
Right, then. Maybe someone else should have learned to keep their mouth shut instead. But she digressed. “So! Ah… Princess Rapunzel,” she introduced, tucking a wayward strand of hair behind her ear with one hand before offering the other to shake. “I take it you’re here visiting from one of the northern kingdoms, right? What’s your name?”

❝Funny?❞ The corner of Anna’s lips formed a tiny crack of smile. ❝Yes, I get what you mean. Thank you.❞ She tucked a strand of hair to the back of her ear.
Anna couldn’t help but thought of how nice it was to be complimented. Nobody was really around during her childhood; her parents were busy doing royal stuff (whatever those were) and Elsa had always been cooped up in her room. Interactions with the staff were also limited to short greetings.
❝Pleasant to meet you, Princess Rapunzel,❞ Anna gave a small curtsy and an awkward grin. ❝Correct! My name is Princess Anna, your majesty.❞
You should give her compliments, Anna thought. ❝Corona is a very beautiful place.❞ Close enough.
