The grin that lit up the elder sister’s face could almost be considered blinding; the enthusiasm and the energy coming from her younger sister rolled off of her in waves, and Elsa found it too infectious not to reciprocate. Added to the fact that she had really wanted to spend some quality time with Anna, through unorthodox bonding experiences or not, it didn’t really matter to her. What mattered was the thought that both sisters put into the activity, the effort they exerted in reconnecting with each other.
Her smile remained on her face, resplendent and, ironically, matching the sparkling snowflakes of her ice-constructed garment. ‘Twas the kind of effect positive emotions such as happiness had on her; everything seemed to shimmer in her presence, brought about by the glee waving out of her aura.
”Childish or not is a trivial matter,“ Elsa spoke, eyes softening at the excitement exhibited by Anna. Truly, it was, though — everything would be labeled a trivial matter in circumstances such as this one. “With that, I agree — however I’d appreciate it if you actually gave me an inkling as to what we are doing.”

Since their childhood, this would be the longest Anna had ever stood face to face with her sister–and it was wonderful. Anna would wait for Elsa to come out of her room for many years and Anna almost gave up hope of ever seeing her sister again. But look at them now! If she could go back in time, Anna would tell her younger self to be patient when she goes back to her room, another fruitless day of trying to get Elsa out of her room, because she would be able to be best friends again when they grow up.
Whatever it was, Anna was grateful she hadn’t lose hope in her sister. Maybe it was her optimism or just the strange sibling connection that siblings usually have that functions regardless of how many doors were keeping them apart.
❝I was hoping I could keep it a secret… ❞ the princess trailed off. ❝But since you are so insisting, I was hoping we could start off with sock sliding!❞
