“Everyday,” Crutchie nodded as he slipped the money into his pocket. He handed the newspaper to the lady, and moved his bag of papers around to his other side. “But sometimes I go sell on the othah side of town, with my friends. ‘M Crutchie, by the way, miss.” He extended his hand for the lady to shake, not really knowing why he kept talking.
