Eyes of sapphire blinked, accompanied by a warm smile. Though an introvert in nature and a homebody in self-claim, the young woman did long for company, whether it be with a friend or a costar or a director or anybody, really. Truly, being on her lonesome had its perks, a number of it if she was to be specific, but there was something unable to be substituted by the company of a living, breathing being. The company with her at the moment was one of the most preferred; logically due to their history as costars and emotionally because of the sisterly bond existing between them.

It amused her greatly because with every person she’d encountered, there was a certain kind of feeling bubbling in the pits of her stomach, unable to be summarized by a word or two. Elsa was, in essence, an introvert in all words and deeds, characterized by the home she’d built in her mind, a sanctuary for all to keep away from, something that was hers through and through. So caught up in her mind she was, that if one were to offer her to write about anything and everything she had ever thought about a person, it would encompass an entire book series.

Hence why John Green and his works appealed to her greatly; the sheer introversion of the man was evident, and — if her psychoanalysis of him was wrong and he was not in fact an introvert — his insightful outlook on everything gave her new philosophies to philosophize and mull over as she went about her mundane things. Vaguely she could remember a story Anna had shared with her regarding auditioning for Hazel, and smiled even wider.

”Nonsense,“ she dismissed, noting her fondness for the word when rebutting other people. ”Though, admittedly, John Green is a philosophical genius, you have just saved me from a trash bin full of wet tissues. You’re doing me a favor, Anna.A laugh resounded from her throat. And now onto the question she believed was long overdue——How have you been?

Anna would describe herself as a very sensitive person. She might be oblivious to what was happening around her sometimes, but she was more than capable to know whether there was tension of sadness, anger, or even happiness in the atmosphere. Although her guesses might be a hit or a miss (mostly misses), she was still confident that with practice, she would sharpen her skills. Not only in terms of her environment, but Anna was also one of those people who were not afraid of crying when she read a book or watch movies–one of those people who would ask why you didn’t cry during the saddest parts. That’s why she would be one of the most sensitive person you would ever meet. Anna loved experiencing art firsthand and getting involved too. The purpose of art was that, right? To elicit emotions from the people who were experiencing it, of course.

John Green was more than capable of doing such to her–she regarded him greatly because of that. Anna knew that Elsa loved reading, but to know that she also loved John Green made Anna even happier. They have more things in common, even though they don’t have much either. That could be the foundation of their friendship; because they were so different, they found each other so endearing and that’s where the chemistry came from.

"I know that feeling,” Anna said. “Sometimes I don’t even bother using tissues and I just immediately use my clothes to wipe off my tears and snot–” Realizing what she said and how embarrassing and disgusting it was, Anna blushed, “What? I’m sorry, I’m pretty sure you don’t want to hear that. But it’s just because I was so immersed in reading, I can’t even leave my seat to get a new box of tissue!”

The question came as a surprise for Anna. Why? She didn’t know. It was the first thing you should ask a person when you meet them. It was common courtesy but how come Anna was surprised by such a tiny question? “Ah, well, I’m fine, I guess,” she paused. “Wait! Not fine! The Oscars are coming up, so I’m excited!” Anna had never dreamed of having such an opportunity. Imagine meeting all of those amazing people during that time and how fun would that be? “No! Now that I think about I’m nervous, and gassy. It’s this weekend!”
